Wedding transfers

The one supplier that simply has to be on time

Almost everything on a wedding day can absorb a ten-minute wobble. Transport can't. If the car is late to the house, the whole morning shifts — hair, photographs, the registrar, the lot. That's why we treat wedding work differently from an ordinary transfer: the timings are agreed weeks out, the route is driven before the day, and we build in slack for the roadworks that appear the week of the wedding rather than assuming a clear run.

A single 8-seater covers far more of the day than a traditional wedding car. The bridal party travels together instead of splitting across two vehicles, the dress bags and the kilt hire come with them, and the same vehicle can then loop back for parents and grandparents. After the ceremony it becomes the guest shuttle — eight at a time between the church, the venue and the hotels, which matters a great deal at a rural venue where a taxi is an hour away and the phone signal is theoretical.

We cover the whole of Scotland, though most wedding work sits in the central belt: the country-house and castle venues around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, the city venues of Edinburgh's New Town and Old Town, Glasgow's West End and Merchant City, and the hotels out towards Stirling and Perthshire. Tell us the venue and the ceremony time and we'll build the day's plan around them.

A written timeline before the day

Once the ceremony time is fixed we send back a leg-by-leg schedule — who's collected, from where, at what time, and when the vehicle is back for the next run. You can hand it straight to whoever is coordinating on the day, and nobody has to remember which cousin is where.

Evening runs and the trip home

The last hour of a wedding is usually the least planned. We can stay on for evening runs back to the hotels, or come back at an agreed time for the couple — either way it's agreed and priced before the day, so nobody is negotiating a fare in a car park at midnight.

What's included

How we cover a wedding day

One vehicle, one driver who knows the plan, and a price agreed long before anyone is in a morning suit.

Bridal party transport

The couple, the bridesmaids, the parents — travelling together with the dress bags and the kilt hire, not split across cars.

Guest shuttles

Loops between ceremony, reception and hotels — invaluable at rural venues where taxis are scarce and signal is worse.

Timings agreed in advance

A leg-by-leg written schedule you can hand to your coordinator, with realistic gaps built into every run.

Route driven beforehand

We check the approach, the gates and the parking before the day — country venues rarely match what the satnav thinks.

Immaculate & smartly dressed

Valeted vehicle, suited driver, and ribbons fitted on the morning if you provide them. It'll be in the photographs.

One fixed price

Agreed when you book and unchanged on the day. If anything needs to extend, you'll hear the cost before it does.

Questions

Wedding transport FAQs

Anything we haven't covered? Call 07765 248036 — you'll get a straight answer from the person who'll be driving.

Can you do multiple pickups on the wedding morning?

Yes — multiple pickups are the norm rather than the exception. Bridesmaids from one address, parents from another, then back for the bride: we map the run properly beforehand, allow realistic gaps between each leg, and give you a written timeline so everybody knows when to be ready.

Do you decorate the car?

The vehicle arrives valeted and immaculate as standard. If you'd like ribbons or a simple colour-matched trim, provide them in advance and we'll fit them on the morning — just tell us when you book so we allow the time.

Can you shuttle guests between the ceremony, the reception and their hotels?

Yes. Guest shuttles are one of the most useful things we do — eight at a time between the church, the venue and the hotels, running as many loops as the schedule needs. It's far easier than guests trying to find a taxi in a rural spot with no phone signal.

How far in advance should we book wedding transport?

As soon as the venue and the ceremony time are fixed — typically six to twelve months out. Summer Saturdays and the whole of the festive season go first. If your date is closer than that it's still worth asking, because plans change.

What happens if the day runs late?

Weddings run late; that's not news to us. We build slack into the timeline and stay in touch with whoever is coordinating on the day, so a photographer running over moves the plan rather than breaking it. If a booking genuinely needs to extend, we'll tell you the cost before it does — not afterwards.

Which parts of Scotland do you cover for weddings?

All of it. Most of our wedding work sits in the central belt — Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and the Loch Lomond venues — but country-house and castle weddings further afield are fine too. Tell us the venue and we'll quote the run.

Can you take the dresses, the kilts and the rest of the gear?

Yes. An 8-seater has genuine luggage space, so dress bags, kilt hire, the cake, the flowers and the overnight cases can travel with the party instead of being squeezed into a car boot. Mention anything bulky when you book so we plan the loading.

Do you also do airport runs for wedding guests?

We do — guests flying in for the weekend are a big part of wedding season. See our Glasgow airport transfers and Edinburgh airport transfers pages, and mention the wedding when you book so we can join the journeys up.
